ECIC to focus on sales and marketing side of business
Electrical Contractors’ Insurance has appointed Alastair Torbet to the new role of group sales and marketing director as part of its ongoing restructure and expansion of the leadership team.
Roger Brown, managing director for ECIC, said: “The appointment of Alastair is, I believe, one of ECIC’s most significant hires to date. Not only am I personally delighted to be working with Alastair again, and excited at having the opportunity to replicate the success we previously enjoyed but this appointment marks the beginning of a major new focus in the sales and marketing area of this business.”
The appointment reunites a long-time industry partnership, as Torbet has previously worked with Brown in roles at both Lockton and Marsh.
Most recently Torbet held the role of UK sales director for HSBC Insurance Brokers.
