Three insurance professionals have bought one of Hampshire's largest independent insurance brokers, Stackhouse Poland.

Jeremy Cary, James Agnew and Keith Hester, who were previously senior executives with the two global brokers Aon and Marsh, have bought the entire shareholding in the business from Michael Poland.

The new owners said they planned to develop the Liphook-based company into "a pre-eminent private client boutique broker in the UK", as well as expand its niche corporate and charity specialisation.
