The Institute of Financial Services (ifs) said more than 2000 students have registered for its general insurance qualification, the Certificate in Regulated General Insurance.
More than 300 people have successfully completed the qualification, launched in February 2003.
The certificate is aimed at those working in general insurance who wish to improve their knowledge and understanding of the sector.
