Insurancetimes.co.uk has launched a new section that reveals new tenders daily. Here are this week's highlights.

  • Wandsworth Borough Council plans to offer its insurance contracts to other insurers if its renewal offer with current insurer Zurich Municipal is "as high as last year".

    The deal with Zurich is estimated to generate total annual premium of £1.9m. If the Zurich policies are not renewed they plan to offer the contracts to one of the panel including: The St Paul Companies, Royal & Sun Alliance, Norwich Union, AXA and Ecclesiastical.

  • Birmingham City Council needs accident and liability cover for the NEC. It said the contract for the exhibition operator was worth up to £1.5m.

  • The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

    Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
