The Towergate Partnership has announced the acquisition of Oxford-based Tait Conisbee Seymour Insurance Brokers (TCS).

TCS places £5.5m gross written premiums of commercial insurance.

Rod Graham and Graham Stephens will remain company directors with control of 14 staff.

The business will become the 91st acquisition of the combined Towergate Partnership group.

Towergate Partnership executive chairman Peter Cullum said: “The Towergate Partnership will control more than £1.1bn GWP when the merger completes, however our objective is to reach £2bn by the end of 2006.

“With a war chest of £150m and our current strong acquisition pipeline, I am confident we will achieve this target.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
