Mark Veale has been appointed group change programme manager at THB Group.

THB has invested £1.5m in technology to drive a three-year programme of change.

Veale has 22 years of experience in the insurance industry. He will run THB's programme, which will encompass THB's North America, UK Wholesale and Retail operations.

Chief executive of the broker group, Vic Thompson, commented: “Our objective is to make significant improvements to the service we provide to both our customers and suppliers. We're beginning that process by mapping out a broad change programme that will involve every part of the group and by investing substantially in new technology and business process reform. Mark's role will be to provide the programme management for the programme and use his expertise in creating change to drive our organisation forward.”

Veale said: “THB has set itself a clear set of strategic and tactical objectives and I'm delighted to be able to play a key role in helping the business achieve them. Delivering meaningful change is something that requires careful planning, resources and commitment from people right across an organisation. It's a challenging goal but one that THB is absolutely committed to bring about.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
