Volvo Financial Services has launched a dedicated insurance division, Volvo Insurance Services, to reflect its focus on this area of business.
Volvo has also appointed an insurance products specialist with 13 years' experience - Richard Pitt - as national sales manager.
Pitt commented: "We have a development schedule to bring market-leading products to new and existing customers. The products are straightforward, easy to administer, and offer good value to customers."
Products the division is already offering include write-off protection for new and used Volvo trucks, Keyman and Keyman Plus.
Products in development include write-off protection for bus, coach and construction equipment, an extended warranty for used trucks, and asset protection for construction equipment.
