Tongue firmly in cheek, Backchat linked Markerstudy chief executive Kevin Spencer and his "£60m" wad with one of his favourite football clubs York City.
Enough said, we thought. Not so. Seems that days later Spencer was harangued with calls from the Minstermen keen on a quick sale.
Spencer's other club is Chelsea. Now wouldn't it be sweet if they got on the blower?
