A partnership worth £225m has been set up between process outsourcing provider Williams Lea and Norwich Union (NU).
The ten-year agreement is the largest deal of its kind in the UK financial services sector.
NU has appointed Williams Lea to manage its document services internally and externally in the UK.
The deal includes specialist laser print and fulfilment business Printopost, which works with a large number of high profile clients in the financial services sector including Virgin Money and The One Account.
Staff within the NU document services division will be transferred to Williams Lea.
Under the partnership, Williams Lea will open centres of excellence in Norwich, York and Perth as part of a two-year project.
