Willis has appointed the chief operating officer of Willis Reinsurance and the chief executive of Willis Global Specialties to the group executive committee.
Global insurance broker Willis has appointed the chief operating officer of Willis Reinsurance, Grahame Millwater, and the chief executive of Willis Global Specialties, Jim Ratcliffe, to the Group Executive Committee.
The appointments are effective immediately.
Millwater joined Willis as a graduate in 1985. He has held several positions within the reinsurance division and was appointed COO in 1998.
Ratcliffe joined Willis's Aerospace Division as managing director two years ago. Before that he was with Granada Group, where he was managing director of its UK Rental Group and a director of On Digital.
He was appointed to his current position in July 2001.
