The chief executive of XL Capital's reinsurance arm, Henry Keeling, is relocating from Bermuda to London in order to focus on strategy.
As a result, James Veghte will look after the company's daily operations. He has been appointed president, chief operating officer and chief underwriting officer.
Veghte is leaving his position as chief operating officer of XL's French reinsurance subsidiary Le Mans Re.
