Zurich has announced a new loss adjuster process model, which it claims will deliver the right level of expertise at all points of the claims process.
Currently Zurich's loss adjuster panel consists of Cunningham Lindsey and Capita.
From 1 October 2004 the new loss adjuster panel will be split into claims business segments as follows, employing the services of loss adjusters where they add the most value.
In addition, Zurich will continue to honour existing customer nominations.
The new panel consists of:
Major loss panel: Capita, Cunningham Lindsey, GAB Robins and Crawfords
Domestic: Cunningham Lindsey, Davies & Co and Lucas Associates (Northern Ireland Losses)
High net worth: Davies & Co
Non-domestic: Cunningham Lindsey, GAB Robins and Lucas Associates (Northern Ireland Losses)
Building guarantee: Knowles Loss Adjusters and Cunningham Lindsey
Construction and engineering: Cunningham Lindsey and Crawford
Casualty: Cunningham Lindsey, GAB Robins and Lucas Associates (Northern Ireland Losses)
Subsidence: Cunningham Lindsey
Hired-in-plant: Buckley Scott.
