Zurich Financial Services has appointed Malcolm Gilbert as head of investor relations, with effect from 1 February 2004.
Gilbert has replaced Donna Galer, who became executive vice president in the office of the chief executive of Zurich North America.
Gilbert will be responsible for group-wide investor relations activities. He joins Zurich from Royal & SunAlliance, where he has been director of financial communications since 1998.
