Zurich has announced the appointment of Geoff Riddell and Dieter Wemmer to its group executive committee.

Riddell will continue to serve as chief executive of Zurich's global corporate business.

Wemmer has been appointed chief executive of Europe general insurance, succeeding Axel Lehmann.
