Rob Clark will bring his motor underwriting experience to Ageas
Ageas has appointed Rob Clark as niche schemes underwriting manager for personal motor.
Clark, who has more than 15 years’ experience in underwriting and risk management, joins Ageas from ERS, where he was head of bespoke motor.
Ageas’s personal motor business includes classic cars and motorcycles.
Motor and personal lines underwriting services head Kevin Kiernan said Clark’s “breadth of knowledge and experience in the motor market makes him the ideal addition, especially as we look to grow our specialist personal motor market”.
Clark’s underwriting roles at ERS included niche areas such as motor homes, enthusiast vehicles, classic cars and commercial vehicles.
“The appeal of driving the Ageas specialist motor portfolio was too good to miss,” Clark said.”It’s a great fit for both my skills and experience.”
