Association of Insurance Intermediaries and Brokers (AIIB) has received a positive response from its members to its model terms of business agreements (TOBAs).

AIIB membership secretary Dorothy Duncan said the constructive feedback had enabled the association to finetune the TOBAs, along with comments from General Insurance Standards Council (GISC) monitors.

“One aspect that's becoming very clear is monitors are looking for TOBAs to be tailored to individual business activities,” she said.

The AIIB and the British Insurance Brokers' Association (Biba) will also run a series of nationwide workshops to help members comply with the GISC.

Members can book places at the workshops by calling the AIIB on 08707 878060 or Biba on 0207 397 0222.
