Backchat is no friend of the insurance fraudster and was delighted to hear that two of his fraud-busting chums bumped into each other the day – outside the house of a suspected villain.
Ever-respectful of the law and keen not to prejudice any case, Backchat feels obliged to keep the names of his chums, and the “alleged” con man a secret. But the two turned up at an address last week, at precisely the same time.
One was looking for, let's say, a Mr Smith, the other was after a Mr Jones. Smith and Jones turned out to be one and the same and the two cases the investigators were handling were totally separate and for different insurers. Backchat is pleased to report that Mr Smith and Mr Jones are now helping the police with their enquiries.
