Allianz Cornhill Engineering is launching a product to cover audio, visual and sound (AVS) equipment.
Martin Ball, underwriting and operations manager at Allianz Cornhill Engineering, said the insurer would offer cover "which is more comprehensive than what is normally available", to include provisions for hired-in AVS kit and equipment in transit.
He said the insurer would "actively target brokers who have clients in this area" with an upgraded bespoke product which would aim to make Allianz Cornhill Engineering a "leader in the field".
Ball said the AVS launch followed the successful launch of its medical equipment cover earlier this year.
