AM Best has assigned Amlin's new Bermuda reinsurance operation a financial strength rating of A- (Excellent) with a stable outlook.
AM Best has also affirmed Amlin's Syndicate 2001 rating of A (Excellent), citing its well diversified account, strong internal risk management and control infrastructure.
Charles Philipps, Amlin's chief executive said; “The achievement of high quality ratings represents a key milestone in the setting up of Amlin Bermuda. We are encouraged by brokers' interest and enthusiasm for the new operation and their continued support of Syndicate 2001.”
