Allied World Assurance Company (AWAC) has revealed that the company is opening a Box at Lloyd's.
The Box, which officially opened for business on 1 December 2006, will further support Allied World's European book of business and serve as an additional outlet to market the company's existing products.
Allied World Europe president, John Redmond, said: “The expansion of Allied World's European operations into Lloyd's is an exciting new prospect for our underwriting staff in all disciplines.
“In an increasingly competitive marketplace, Allied World Europe's ability to offer our A rated capacity in property, casualty and professional lines in three locations further demonstrates our ongoing commitment to our broker markets and their clients.”
