Amy Crouch will be responsible for key broking accounts

AXA commercial lines and personal intermediary has appointed Amy Crouch as a strategic relationship executive, responsible for key broking accounts.

Crouch, who has joined from Allianz, will manage the national relationships with JLT, UNA and Cobra Network, amongst others, who deliver a significant share of AXA’s overall commercial gross written premium (GWP).

She will be responsible for focusing on business development and coordinating the relationship across AXA’s regional branch network.

AXA head of strategic partnerships Barrie King said: “Amy is an impressive individual and demonstrates all the attributes and skills necessary for a position of this importance. She is an excellent addition to the team.

“Our 15 key partners deliver a significant share of our overall commercial GWP and so it is vital that we have the right people and the right structure to ensure that these relationships are developed in a consistent and profitable manner.

“AXA’s success in the commercial space is built upon an extensive and empowered presence in the regions which is mirrored by our key partners and having these central touch points and relationships helps deliver the success of our branch network in a consistent manner.”

Crouch added: “This role gives me a fantastic opportunity to work with some of the most influential brokers in the UK. I am excited about working at AXA which has been on a clear and sustained growth trajectory over the last four years and I look forward to playing my part in continuing that trend.”

Crouch’s appointment to the strategic relationship team follows the appointment of Maureen Varlow from Aviva back in January.

Other existing members of the team include, Allison Anderson, Scott Grimmer and Joanna Horton.
