Insurer launches single-key products

AXA has announced plans to roll out businessrisk.com to more brokers and the launch of single-key products.

AXA commercial distribution director Mark Cliff said businessrisk.com, which was previously available only to AXA's 100 premier brokers, would be available to all of its 250 prime brokers by the end of the year.

He said 90% of AXA's commercial products, including commercial combined, would be available on the system by the end of the year.

AXA bought the online insurance arm from Independent Insurance after its collapse.

But Cliff said AXA had "completely stripped it back and integrated it with our system".

Cliff said the system recently handled its biggest ever risk, with £100,000 premium, from the Beckett Group.

AXA has also developed two single-key products with Acturis and Sirius to be released "in the next couple of weeks".

Acturis will offer full-cycle connectivity on Business Plan Plus, a small business, commercial combined product.

Sirius will have new business connectivity on Venture Plus, aimed at sole traders.

Cliff said AXA was "absolutely thrilled" to have developed single-key products, which he described as "the holy grail" sought by brokers and insurers.
