The annual e-Commerce Conference (eCC) in Bermuda has been postponed to March 2002 as a result of the terrorist attacks in the US.

The conference was planned to take place from October 3 to 5, 2001.

The conference organisers said the eCC Bermuda was targeted towards decision-makers and entrepreneurs from companies looking to globalise their operations and seek offshore fiscal benefits in addition to expert professional support.

Meanwhile, the Bermuda International Business Association (BIBA) has reaffirmed that Bermuda's key business sectors, including insurance, banking and e-commerce, continue to operate in a stable and sound manner.
