Broker Network and Countrywide have renewed their partner insurer relationship with RSA following two moves that built closer links between the firms.

RSA set up a one-stop shop in Glasgow for selected members of Broker Network and Countrywide, which led to an increase in business placed with the insurer.

The insurance company is also providing access to its internet trading platform, RSA online, via the secure websites of Broker Network and Country – the first partner insurer to set up such links. Members are able to access RSA online via a single login as part of the network’s e-market.

Following the successful launch of the product to members, the partners now plan to develop dedicated products for the online platform.

Announcing the renewed partnership today, Broker Network network division chief executive Gary Duggan (pictured) said: “We have worked closely with RSA to ensure that it can make the most out of dedicated access to more than 600 independent insurance brokers and to ensure that this long-term arrangement brings added value to all parties, including of course, our membership.

“RSA has gone to considerable effort to create these unique propositions for our customers and we are delighted to be able to confirm its status as insurer partner.

“We look forward to further creative thinking around what we can do, working together, to position RSA as an important strategic partner within network division.”

RSA commercial director SME Tara Kneafsey added: “Gary and his team have supported our ambitions to grow the amount of business we have with Broker Network and Countrywide members, making this valuable distribution relationship a vital part of our commitment to UK independent broking.”
