Award given for his long standing and committed participation in Biba at regional committee and national technical committee level for nearly 25 years
Biba has named recently retired Northern Irish broker Dennis McConnell winner of the 2015 Francis Perkins Award.
The judges named McConnell winner of this year’s award due to his long standing and committed participation in Biba at regional committee and national technical committee level for nearly 25 years.
Steve White, Biba’s chief executive, announced the award at its annual conference in Manchester.
He said: “I am delighted to present this award to Dennis in recognition of his contribution to the Association and to the broker sector in general.”
Francis Perkins, the first chairman of Biba instigated the award to recognise members of the association who give their time and energy to further its causes.
