The National Bus Driver's Union (NBDU) has become the first trade union offering a health cash plan to all its members as part of their subscriptions.
The newly formed organisation, launched by Arriva bus driver Peter Rimmer, aims to represent the needs of those working at the 7,000 national coach and bus operators.
NBDU has teamed up with Medicash, one of the leading health cash plans, to include personal accident and hospital in-patient grants as part of the £2.40 a week union subcription package.
