Cloud-based technology will be used to maximise broking platform efficiency

Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford (CGSC) has signed a deal with NaviSite Inc for a new global managed IT service.

The global wholesale and reinsurance broking group, today announced the conclusion the agreement for the services, which will be based on Cloud technology, to maximise the efficiency of its broking platform worldwide.

IT services provider NaviSite will not only deliver the IT infrastructure for hosting “Eclipse for Broking”, CGSC’s new global broking platform, but will also provide a managed  Microsoft 2010 Exchange platform for the group, together with managed network connectivity services, using the Level 3 MPLS network.

The new infrastructure will allow CGSC’s 60 global offices to work together more effectively on international client business and will result in a more coherent service.

CSGC’s group chief information officer Brent Kruger said: “We are excited about the opportunity to better serve our clients, using state-of-the-art technology, within a highly secure and scalable IT environment.
