Stuart Dickinson has left Novae to join Chaucer Syndicates as commercial development underwriter.

Dickinson will take responsibility for developing Chaucer's range of UK commercial products.

He commented: "I am delighted to be given the opportunity to lead the expansion of Chaucer's UK product range. Chaucer's excellent standing in UK motor insurance provides an ideal distribution platform for other classes of business. In the first instance we will be introducing liability and property products that will appeal to existing commercial motor customers as well as new clients."

Bruce Bartell, active underwriter for Syndicate 1084, said: "I am pleased that Stuart has joined Chaucer for 2007. Attracting someone of Stuart's calibre will help position Chaucer in readiness for an upturn in the UK commercial market."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
