Latham wants better relationship with insurers.

Chris Latham, general manager for Kindertons Accident Management Limited, has joined the executive committee of the Accident Management Association.

Kindertons were recently voted the 'Credit Hire Organisation of the Year' by accident repairers across the UK.

Chris states, "With the current issues, challenges and media interest in credit hire it's good to be more closely involved with the association that is striving to protect and promote the industry for the benefit of its customers and member firms.

“By working through the association we hope to encourage insurers to speed up claim settlements with resulting cost savings to them and credit hire organisations."

Tony Baker, AMA director general, said: "It is good to have Chris on board, Kindertons are well established and respected in our Industry. Chris's experience and good working relationships with all parties can only benefit the association.

“It is imperative we work better with insurers as insurer inefficiency in settling non-fault accident claims is starting to impact adversely on motor insurance premiums.

“We must ensure it does not impact on the delivery of a first class service to innocent motorists involved in an accident."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
