The Cooperative Insurance Society is to cut 2,000 jobs over the next two years.

The company said 2,500 jobs would be lost due to restructuring designed to modernise the business.

At the same time 500 new customer service positions are to be created.

CIS said it was responding to substantial changes in the market to ensure its future profitability.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
