Evander Group snaps up division of HomeServe PLC

Privately-owned business consortium, Evander Group, has today agreed the acquisition of HomeServe Emergency Services (HES), a division of HomeServe PLC.

The Evander Group comprises former HES businesses Glass and Locks, Contents Services and Chem-Dry backed by equity partner Lloyds Development Capital LDC.

It will be led by Jonathan Simpson-Dent and former members of the HES management team Mark Taylor, Alan Horton and Simon Hancox, who aim to develop a strong, client and customer-focused, multi-service business.

Jonathan Simpson-Dent, Evander Group Chief Executive, explains the acquisition:

“We aim to create the UK’s leading property service business. We shall set new standards of innovation and improvement in the sector, whilst creating value and being seen as a hallmark of trust and confidence.”

Unique in the marketplace, Evander Group will offer a one stop shop for property services. It will provide claims validation, disaster recovery, cleaning, glass repair and locksmith services to leading insurers, banks, retailers and large companies, as well as direct to the public. With nationwide coverage and dedicated teams, it will be committed to providing good value and excellent service in a down to earth, professional, and honest manner.

With a firm understanding of the business sector, equity group LDC will support the Evander management team in nurturing the multifaceted business, which will focus completely on its clients and their customers.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
