Motorcycle insurance specialist Carole Nash is targeting the UK's one million bikers with brand security products at discounted prices.
Last year, it was estimated that 20,000 motorcycles, valued at £30m, were stolen.
In response, Carole Nash is investing £250,000 in the national launch of its anti-theft initiative, called Carole Nash Secure.
The scheme includes buying and equipping a fleet of ten mobile installation vehicles, plus recruiting and training specialist engineers who will offer a free fitting service at bikers' homes.
Its launch follows a clampdown on security by the major insurance underwriters, which often insist bikes are equipped with immobilisers or alarms before they insure them.
