Crawford & Company has appointed Owen Gorman and Chris Wilshere regional managers for liability, with local responsibility for financial performance and business development.

Wilshere will be responsible for an area including Winchester, Bristol, Birmingham, Exeter and Northampton, while Gorman will take responsibility for an area including Leeds, Stockport, Liverpool, Newcastle and Glasgow.

Gorman has worked in the liability arena for 16 years and has been with Crawford for 11 years.

Wilshere has been with Crawford for 23 years. He has 30 years' experience in liability and has been involved in all types of liability investigations.

Managing director of the risk management services division Simon Burley said: "The liability area is a key market sector that has distinct requirements.

"We believe that these changes provide the liability division with a structure that will allow it to benefit from its position in the UK market and to achieve its chief goals of growth, profitability, consistency and the highest level of customer service."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
