Smith will advise the boards of Lockton and the broker’s managing general agency
Ex-Zurich UK general insurance chief executive Dave Smith has joined broker Lockton Companies as a non-executive director.
He will advise the boards of Lockton, and its managing general agency Mapledown Underwriting.
Smith, who won the Industry Achiever Award at the Insurance Times Awards 2015, spent the last 10 years of his career at Zurich.
He also chaired Zurich general insurance’s risk and customer experience committees.
