Direct Line has appointed interactive media agency Tamar to optimise its web presence and oversee its website, www.directline.com, the company said today.

Neil McCarthy, commercial director of Tamar,said: “Direct Line already receives a lot of inquiries via the internet. We will ensure Direct Line appears at the top of the listings on the major search engines including Google and MSN in order to further increase its traffic as well as attracting the visitors most likely to request an online insurance quote.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
