Admiral and Moneysupermarket pay early to beat the tax rise

Insurer Admiral aggregator Moneysupermarket.com have paid bonuses early to avoid the 50% tax rate, the Times reports.

Simon Nixon, who founded Moneysupermarket and holds 52.7% of the business, will receive more than £20m from two special dividends it paid this year while the tax on earnings over £150,000 was 40%.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
