Over half the working population would trust their employer rather than any other business, to offer them reputable financial products and services, according to new research from youatwork (www.youatwork.co.uk) the employee benefits division of Royal & SunAlliance.

The youatwork research highlights the growing popularity amongst UK workers for employer-endorsed benefits. Worksite marketing, a distribution channel which enables the sale of such benefits in the workplace, is becoming one of the most effective way for service providers to meet this demand.

Managing director of youatwork Gerry Callaghan said: "Different forms of worksite marketing have been around for as long as people have worked in offices. Every gym membership, office sandwich man or staff insurance
policy is an example of marketing to people in their work place."

"Employees are much more likely to trust their own employer, particularly when it comes to important purchasing decisions such as financial products and services," he said.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
