Gordon Jenkins Acturis

Gordon Jenkins, Acturis

Explain briefly about your entry in the Excellence in ETrading category.

Acturis is at the forefront of eTrading and our recent artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning additions to our eTrading capabilities are having a huge impact, which we think the market needs to be aware of.

Referrals remain a growing bugbear for brokers and insurers alike, as the Insurance Times insight and surveys highlight time and again. Acturis has brought the latest technology and expertise to bear on this problem and we are seeing fantastic results across our partners.

Acturis has invested heavily in the expertise, technology and infrastructure required to integrate machine learning seamlessly into the eTrading journey, delivering AI insights when and where they create the biggest benefit.

What do you think makes your entry stand out different from your competition?

Acturis’ role as a service provider allows us to take innovation and deliver real world impact across the whole industry.

We believe our past, present and future of delivering the right technology to drive eTrading excellence industry-wide makes us unique.

What would winning this award mean to you and your firm?

We are huge advocates of AI and machine learning technologies and the positive impact they can have. Winning this award would give us the recognition that the investment and dedication required so far has put us on the right track to change the face of eTrading using AI.
