Exeter Friendly Society has launched a private medical insurance (PMI) package aimed at professional partnerships and corporates with between three and 25 employees.

There are two options, Exeter Professional Care-Elite and the more limited Exeter Professional Care-Choice.

The elite package provides cover for hospital charges, specialist fees and out-patient MRI and CT scans, physiotherapy, osteopathy, chiropractic, private ambulance and home nursing costs.

The care-choice option only covers the major and essential requirements of hospital charges, related specialist fees and out-patient consultations.

Both packages offer two levels of hospital choice based on costs rather than geographical location and a worldwide annual travel insurance option. The policy also provides telephone and office equipment while in hospital.

"Our research showed that there was demand from businesses, particularly with the onset of additional employee national insurance contributions from company funded insurance from April 2000," said Exeter Friendly general manager Robin Payne.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
