Fineos Corporation today launched the 'Fineos Complaint Management Solution'. The package enables financial institutions to fully automate their complaints handling processes.

The application can electronically capture and track all complaint information including calls, letters and correspondence.

Complaint volumes and trends can also be reported, charted and provided for analysis so that business policy and processes can be updated.

Chief executive Michael Kelly said: "Effective complaint handling is integral to the way banks and insurance companies run their business.

"Complaint management is more than just logging complaints and hopefully resolving them, it's about putting standards in place, and the business processes and technology that make that possible."

He added that the Fineos solution will enable companies to meet the requirements of the Financial Services Authority and Financial Ombudsman Service legislation.

This product is the first of a range of Fineos niche products which will be launched over the coming months.
