Swiss Re has appointed former US Federal Reserve Board vice-chairman Roger Ferguson as chairman of its America Holding Corp and a member of its executive board.
Roger Ferguson succeeds Jacques Dubois, who will retire by the end of 2006, the insurance group said.
Ferguson will also become Swiss Re's financial market strategist.
