GAB Robins has appointed Nigel Barham to head its subsidence division.

Barham, who will be joining in December, is currently client service director at Cunningham Lindsey’s project managed services.

He is also a member of the Subsidence Forum Executive and sits on a government working group on flood resilient materials.

He replaces Gary Strong who is leaving the loss adjuster to join the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Meanwhile, Carolyn Steeper has returned to GAB Robins as a senior adjuster and forensic accountant in the major and complex loss division after seven months at Crawford & Company.

Mike Jones, chief operating officer said: “We are delighted to welcome Carolyn back. Her wealth of expertise and direct experience makes her a real asset to the business.

“As a senior member of the large loss team she will play an important role in delivering the client-orientated service for which the division is recognised.”
