Groupama Insurances has appointed Graham Gibson as claims director, subject to regulatory approval from the FSA.

Gibson will have responsibility for the technical integrity and operational effectiveness of the UK group's claims operations.

Gibson succeeds claims technical director Mick Booth who is retiring on 14 July 2004.

Prior to his appointment, Gibson was claims operations director. He joined Groupama in 1995.

As head of the claims team, Graham will manage both the technical integrity of Groupama's claims organisation, together with its operational and servicing capabilities, said Groupama.

He will report to Groupama managing director, François-Xavier Boisseau.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
