St Paul
David Turner has joined St Paul International Insurance Company as financial reporting manager. He will be responsible for all aspects of financial reporting, both internal and external, including the production of the monthly revenue accounts. He joins from Chubb and prior to that worked
for QBE and CGNU.

Swiss Life
Swiss Life (UK) has confirmed the appointment of Brian Hurd as director of its personal finance business unit. Previously with CGU and, post-merger, Norwich Union, Brian will be based at the customer service centre in Liverpool, responsible for development of the company's individual protection portfolio.

Aon
Peter Bristow has been appointed director
of the Aon Public Sector Consulting Group. Based in Aon's Sheffield office, Bristow has worked for Aon since 1993, focusing on the development of risk management and risk financing services for public sector clients. Prior to that, he spent 15 years in local government in a variety of roles, including ten years as risk and insurance manager for a major London borough.

Marsh
Marsh has made two appointments. Beverley Pitcher has been appointed head of office. Pitcher, a fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute, joined Marsh in 1997. She has 12 years' experience in the insurance industry.
Roger Treherne has been promoted to the position of regional director, responsible for seven offices in the South and South East.

GHBC
GHBC Insurance Brokers has made three appointments. Bob Moore has been appointed assistant broking manager. He was previously with Independent Insurance, where he was senior development underwriter.
Shelley Eggleton has been appointed as an additional member of the claims department. She was previously with Abbey National.
Liz Allen has joined the personal lines department. She was previously with Marsh.

Beazley
Lloyd's managing agency Beazley has announced the appointment of Alistair Robson as senior property underwriter.
He began his career in 1985 with Guardian Royal Exchange, later moving to St Paul
Re and Eagle Star Re before joining Württembergische Versicherung as
property underwriting manager.

Beckett's
Moya Law has been appointed operations director of the Leicester office of Beckett
Risk Management. She has been with the firm and its predecessor Remington Collins for 17 years. She previously worked for Royal Insurance.

James Chapman & Co
Manchester-based legal firm James Chapman & Co has appointed two newly qualified lawyers to strengthen its insurance litigation practice. Helen Briggs joins the personal injury department and Julia Roper becomes a member of the professional indemnity department.

InFront Solutions
Claims service provider InFront Solutions has made two appointments. Elaine Miller has been appointed client relationship manager in InFront's sales and marketing team. She joins from GAB Robins, where she worked for several years in claims handling and as a sales and marketing account manager. She was also president of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Cambridge and is
an associate of the CII and the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters (CILA).
Andrew Pardon has been appointed subsidence technical manager in InFront's property team. He was with Direct Line for
several years, being promoted to assistant subsidence unit claims manager in 2000.


Claims Management Group Limited (CMGL)
London claims and insurance management services provider CMGL has appointed Barry Salter to head up its consolidated claims operations. He joins from Markel-owned Terra Nova Insurance Company, where he was claims director, and previously chaired the International Underwriters Association (IUA) non-marine claims group. He was also a member of the LMP2001 claims business processes group. He will be responsible for 150 claims personnel operating from CMGL's offices in the UK, Europe and Australia.

M Consulting
M Consulting, the specialist marketing agency for insurance, financial and legal
services, has made three new appointments. Anita Hawkes has joined as a marketing consultant. She will work within the London Market and develop M's Australian-based expansion. Most recently, she was marketing manager at SVB Syndicates and service companies at Lloyd's and prior to this she was with QBE Insurance's London office.
Cathy Henderson joins as PR account executive and was previously with Channel One Liverpool, where she worked as a newsreader and video-journalist for two years. She will be responsible for client PR and communications management.
Sarah Clayton has been promoted to clients services executive, after working for the firm for a year as marketing assistant. Her responsibilities include co-ordinating and implementing specialist client projects
within core market sectors.
