Nash is already chairman of Merrydown, Maybridge and Tubex and is non-executive director of several other UK companies.
St Paul's
Robert Philpot has been appointed marine claims adjuster at St Pauls's at Lloyd's.
Philpot, who has more than 30 years' market experience, will take over from Maurice Charles, who retired last month.
MRI
Former Zurich Financial Services senior manager and Lloyd's service company director Malcolm Clark has launched a new executive search consultancy as part of the MRI Worldwide network.
The service will specialise in the insurance industry and will be staffed by experienced insurance professionals.
Axa Assistance UK
Elena Miguens has been appointed managing director of Axa Assistance UK.
She was previously general manager of
Inter Partner Assistance and was instrumental in establishing Axa Assistance UK, which is a joint venture between Inter Partner, Access 24 and Medical and Industrial Services.
She also established Inter Partner's Buenos Aires office, where she spent nine years.
Halifax General Insurance Services
Richard Wood has been appointed general insurance actuary with Halifax General Insurance Services.
Wood, who previously worked at CGNU, will initially work on the pricing of Halifax's household product range.
David Brown, the current general insurance actuary at Halifax, will continue his duties but will be known as head of actuarial and statistical reporting, a title that more accurately reflects his responsibilities.
Pinnacle
Roy McDonald has been appointed business development manager of Pinnacle Insurance's corporate healthcare division.
McDonald was previously business development manager of the Birmingham Hospital Saturday Fund.
Chubb Europe
James Keaney has been appointed fine art underwriting manager for Europe by Chubb Europe.
Keaney, previously a fine arts broker, will be responsible for developing business with owners of significant fine art collections for the personal lines department.
Travel and Personal Underwriters
Paul Golder has been appointed claims manager at Travel and Personal Underwriters.
Golder was previously claims manager at Mercury International Assistance and Claims.
Ernst & Young
John Headley and Sarah Williams have both been promoted to partner at Ernst & Young's financial services team.
Headley will continue specialising in advising insurance companies as leader of the company's international accounting standards team.
Williams will focus on retail banking in the banking and capital markets areas.
Miller Insurance
Clive Adams, Ian Lewis and Louise Wood have all been made directors of the Miller Insurance Group.
Adams works at the group's UK business risks unit, while Lewis belongs to the professional risks unit. Wood is responsible for non-marine casualty business from the London Market.
Miller has also appointed Robert Atkinson as director of the energy unit and James Cooper has joined the political and credit risk team.
Crutes
Tim Smith and Emma Cross have been appointed to new positions within Crutes' employment law unit. Smith has become partner and Cross assistant solicitor.
Kevin McKernan, who has been a partner at Crutes for the past 16 years, will switch from the firm's litigation office to the employment unit.
Helix UK
Laurence Lenard has been appointed divisional director at claims management and administration company Helix UK, part of the SBJ Group.
Lenard was formerly a senior executive with Scor Group and managing director of IPC Re Services. She will head Helix's marketing drive into Europe.
SBJ has also appointed Cliff Lambdon as the managing director of the North American division and Martyn Shorrock as managing director SBJ's professional risks division.
Winchester White
Specialist financial services management consultancy Winchester White has appointed David Grey as chief executive.
Fomerly director of operations, Grey joined the company in 1992 following roles at British Airways, TSB and Prudential.
Winchester White has also made Aileen Croft head of the life and pensions practice and Richard Griffiths head of a new practice combining programme services and information services.
