Holman Insurance Brokers
Adrian Harris is appointed as account executive in the specialist housing division of Holman Insurance Brokers. He joins from PYV where he has been schemes manager since July 1999.

Stuart Alexander
Stuart Alexander Insurance & Risk Management has appointed Rob Noble to head up its newly formed subsidiary Stuart Alexander Financial Services. He was previously with Heath Lambert where he specialised in employee benefits and the outsourcing of pension trustee work. In his new role, he will have overall group responsibility for the development of the financial services company, alongside the rapidly expanding commercial insurance operation.

R P Hodson
Tom Meigh is appointed claims director of R P Hodson (insurance brokers). He joined the firm in Januray 1996 to develop the company's claims department. Following a number of recent group acquisitions in London and Yorkshire, his board responsibilities will include the centralisation of R P Hodson's Claims' operation within the Wakefield area.

Global Aerospace Underwriting Managers
Andrew Duguid is joining Global Aerospace Underwriting Managers as group integration, planning and research executive. Part of his duties will be to oversee the continued integration of British Aviation Insurance Group and Associated Aviation Under- writers of the US after their recent merger.

Hardy Underwriting Group
Adrian Walker is appointed an executive director by Hardy Underwriting Group. Approval is being sought from Lloyd's for him to become the underwriter for Syndicate 382 for 2001. Walker was previously the underwriter for Syndicate 902, managed by Amlin Underwriting.

Markel Syndicate Management
Jeremy Cooke is appointed managing director of Markel Syndicate Management, replacing Reg Brown who recently stood down from the post. Cooke is chief operating officer of Markel International and has overall responsibility for Markel's Lloyd's operations and those at the Terra Nova Insurance Company.

Cozen & O'Connor
Cozen & O'Connor has strengthened its London insurance team. Hermes Marangos joins as a partner from Elborne Mitchell and Matthew Cordeux as a junior partner from Clyde & Co.

Quote and Buy
Quote and Buy has appointed Doug Phelan as business development director and David Hayward as finance director. Phelan was formerly broking director at Budget Insurance Services and Hayward was chief executive at the Lambeth Building Society.

Policy Master
Policy Master has appointed Brian Morgan to the new role of sales director in its main operating company. Morgan will report to Stephen Verrall, group chief executive, and also be a member of the board.

Alexander Forbes
Alexander Forbes Risk Services has appointed Paul McGhee as regional director for Scotland. McGhee was formerly divisional director with Royal Bank Insurance Services responsible for the development of new business throughout Scotland and the north of England.

Lisa Weight is appointed as general insurance consultant by Lime Street Recruitment. Weight has worked in insurance recruitment for the past three years.

Smithson Mason Financial Services
Smithson Mason Financial Services has appointed Graham Douglas and John Mott to its board, taking the number of directors to five. Both are currently divisional directors.
