Group Direct, the group of companies that includes Commercial Vehicle Direct and eBike, has appointed Dave Gay as underwriting manager.
Gay will be responsible for negotiating rates with a panel of more than 20 insurers for Commercial Vehicle Direct, as well as for the group's HPDI company, which specialises in insuring high-performance and specialist cars. The companies insure more than 70,000 van and car drivers.
Gay joined Group Direct in March this year and was previously motor underwriting manager for Hill House Hammond in Bristol.
