Groupama launches new healthcare initiative

Groupama Insurances has launched a new healthcare initiative called Cashwise.

A comprehensive healthcare package, cashwise provides general cover plus assistance with dental and opticians fees. Cashwise also offers cover towards the cost of complementary treatments such as homeopathy and reflexology.

Groupama hopes cashwise will benefit both businesses and brokers. Tim Osborne, Director of Groupama Healthcare said:"It offers a cost effective alternative to private medical insurance, and provides valuable peace of mind."

The healthcare product will focus on reducing absenteeism in the workplace. Tim Osborne added:"Absenteeism is costing businesses £13 billion a year. Healthy people make healthy comapanies."

Cashwise will be distributed through Groupama's network of brokers, intermediaries and affinity partners.
