Highway has teamed up with ClaimWatch to launch a joint-branded online vehicle repair tracking service.

Highway ClaimWatch allows customers to track the status of their repair online and it will also advise if the vehicle is a total loss.

Peter Goodright, AD claims manager at Highway, said: "Not only does it significantly enhance our offering to customers, it also allows our Network Liaison Team to monitor the performance – quality, costs and repair times – of the repair network, ensuring we continually improve our service and improve downtime for vehicle repairs. Moreover, statistics are available to Highway via the system to measure performance.”

The system will allow customers to be kept up-to-date via text and email with the facility to log-in anytime to view their repair status, and also provide the option to provide feedback on the repairer's performance at the end of the repair process, Highway added.

The facility applies to Highway's in-house Private Car Approved Repairer Network.

Goodright concluded: “We are very pleased with the speed and efficiency of the roll out and are now looking forward to reaping the benefits of this joint initiative.”
