Insurer offers 'over the phone' service for event managers.

Hiscox Event Insurance, formerly known as Insurex, now offers ‘over the phone’ service to customers.

Event managers will be able to access the Hiscox sales and service team and their telesales offering, in order to obtain a quote and/or cover instantly, in just one call.

The new service, which is available up to 24 hrs in advance of an event, is staffed by a specially trained team who can directly sell a host of event packages without the need for the customer to fill out and return a proposal form.

Hiscox Event Insurance covers exhibitors, business events such as corporate parties, weddings and other private parties.

It also provides cover for stand-alone events such as fairs, fetes, carnivals as well as specialist one-off events such as historical vehicle rallies, and fireworks. The team can also create bespoke packages to suit client needs. To do this, they are fully supported by Hiscox professional underwriters.
